This course teaches how to use simple woodworking hand tools, some basic power tools (under supervision). The course provides information on wood and joinery that are commonly used in furniture making. Learners make some simple furniture such as coffee and side tables. They also make other simple but practical projects such as wooden toys, keepsake boxes, step stools, letter boxes, desk clocks etc.
