Work and grow on the land, even if you don’t have your own yard!

Our Community Garden right next to our woodwork community shed has garden plots available for community members to grow their own plants. Rates are $10 per term or get a plot of your own included with Yearly Membership to Dandenong Community & Learning Centre. 

We also hold regular Working Bees and volunteer events in the Garden, so if you prefer the heavy lifting, we’d love to have you!

Our Gardening Volunteer Group is on Every Thursday: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Everyone is Welcome to join us! It’s for anyone from the City of Greater Dandenong area who wants to come and use their gardening skills or give back to the community. Bring your friends and family along to join in, meet new friends and learn how to garden and take care of the community garden.
